O praise the Lord, all ye nations: praise him, all ye people.

For his merciful kindness is great toward us: and the truth of the Lord endureth for ever. Praise ye the Lord.

Too short? My first thought was to add Psalm 118. But was impressed that some will only take time to read two verses. Many will read today's Psalm.  For those who are trying to take time to read but, have not yet been able to read a psalm every day, this Psalm is for you. God takes us where we are. If we will learn of Him who suffered and died that we might live, we will be transformed, we will love Him with the whole heart. We will love Him as we behold His love for us. He is worthy of our love and praise. By taking time to behold Jesus, more than reading two verses, we will be transformed into His image (character). This is a promise found in the Bible.  "But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord." 2 Cor. 3:18. Why not take time to learn of Him? Because there is something more important than being with Jesus? Let us not trade heaven for the things of this world.

"O praise the Lord, all ye nations: praise him, all ye people. For his merciful kindness is great toward us: and the truth of the Lord endureth for ever. Praise ye the Lord."
